Out with Sena, in with Cardo

Music while riding
I ride on weekends to recharge from the work week. Music adds to the calming view and cool wind that hits me on the twisty Marilaque roads. Oh, and it also helps that I get to focus on the road and not my phone when I need directions from my maps app, and make and pickup calls when needed. As with my ride and gears, I go for practicality. I got the CARDO SPIRIT which is the entry level Cardo wireless communicator with voucher promos during one of the double-digit sale events. Was a good buy until I bought a second unit for my quarter helmet for my short rides.
Coming from a SENA SMH-5s, the Spirit is sleeker, better audio quality and has USB-C. I usually ride solo and when I do ride with my group, I don't need mesh as they don't do comms.
The sound quality improved from the Lane Splitter to the Arai Rapide Neo. My Arai helmet is a snug fit and I guess the construction helped in better acoustics. Happy with its sound quality and I don't see the need to upgrade to the JBL speaker. Here is a video of the installation and comparison with the SENA SMH-5s. Enjoy!
